Mobile Complete has been awarded Mobile Monday's Global Peer Award for Community Favorite, selected from twenty-one global finalists for outstanding innovation in mobility for Project Mobile Experience.
Project Mobile Experience is to offer consumers a simple, friendly way to try out real cell phones in a virtual environment to help make an intelligent purchasing decision, according to Mobile Complete literature. Users are to be able to navigate through all the menus and features as if they were holding the actual phone itself.
Mobile Monday is an open community of mobile, telecom and media industry professionals, with chapters across the world. This was the third year the Peer Awards have been held, in which companies present 3-minute "elevator pitch" style presentations to panel jury, audience, and MobileMonday chapter heads.
Awards were also presented to French company RealEyes3D for advances in scanned handwriting software, and to a Swiss web-localizing application, Plazes. The awards ceremony was held during the 3GSM Congress.
"We are pleased to be recognized by industry luminaries and our fellow peers in the mobile space, said Mobile Complete CEO Faraz Syed. "This prestigious award is a testament to our vision of driving innovation into the market while simplifying the mobile experience for developers and consumers alike."

Mobile Complete, the leading source for user experience management in the mobile industry, announced today that it has closed an agreement with Motorola to deploy its DeviceAnywhereTM product. A Beta trial of this deployment will be conducted among Motorola's community of developers.
DeviceAnywhere enables content rich launches for carriers and device/platform manufacturers through "Virtual Developer Labs." Carriers and device manufacturers can easily access global developer networks, and cost-effectively share scarce pre-commercial devices across the community. A natural extension of this setup is a self-administered certification platform through which developers formally test and demonstrate application quality, usability and scalability.
Motorola will offer DeviceAnywhere as a virtual mobile device tool that can assist content and application developers, feature level developers, system level testers, field testers, and even carrier and operator customers. Motorola will promote trial of the new tool by providing access to otherwise inaccessible devices, and access to application and content device compatibility testing throughout the product life cycle. Key benefits of the virtual mobile device tool include:
- Immediate access to Motorola Mobile Devices otherwise not available
- Usage will promote time reduction in development/test cycle
- Potential quality improvement through usage
- Reduction in cost of testing, as the tool eliminates the need for developers to travel or devices to be shipped to a particular location for testing
XIM, a premier professional services provider in the mobile industry announced today that it has signed a strategic partner agreement with Mobile Complete, Inc. - a remote device access and on-device testing and monitoring solutions vendor located in San Mateo, CA. Under terms of the agreement, XIM will resell Mobile Complete's solutions to ISV's, OEM's, carriers, and content/applications developers. XIM will bundle these solutions with its value added testing and system integration services.
Mobile Complete's technology enables remote (over the Internet) access to real handsets in live carrier networks, allowing users to perform all aspects of in-network, on-device testing and monitoring of mobile applications from the convenience of their desktops -- users are no longer limited by the requirement of physical presence in carrier networks . Users have remote access to all aspects of handsets, including the buttons, LCD display, ringer, speaker, battery, power-plug, data-cable, etc. Collaboration features built into the system allow for quick capture and replay of on-device activity (frame-by-frame and movie clips) -- enhancing interactions among distributed teams, and shortening time-to-market. Additionally, an environment to create, schedule and execute automated testing scripts empowers users to perform automated functional, regression, and post-deployment testing of mobile applications -- speeding time-to-market, reducing cost, and improving quality.
"With Mobile Complete's solutions, bundled with our services and global presence, we are able to offer a new level of testing and system integration services to our clients; this helps us increase our value to our customers, reducing their cost of implementation, while increasing the quality delivered", says Eugene Poznikov of XIM.
XIM has termed this new bundled service the 'Remote Testing Lab' - a service that will allow XIM's clients to more effectively utilize XIM's US and Europe based engineering and professional services resources. XIM will position this service in a variety of markets in North and Latin America, as well as in Europe. By electing XIM's Remote Testing Lab, OEM's, ISV's and content vendors will be able to rapidly test their application look and feel and functionality in a variety of markets and situations - remotely - without deploying costly resources in target markets, and thereby saving valuable time and effort.
"This strategic partnership with XIM helps Mobile Complete expand its market reach and empowers more players in the mobile eco-system to leverage our offering. XIM has a worldclass team and strategic relationships with several major players in the mobile economy, we are excited to be able to leverage such presence", says Faraz Syed, CEO of Mobile Complete.
About XIM, Inc. XIM is a professional services organization with a large focus on the mobile space, enterpriese application integration and information management.
