Virtual Handset Testing Provider Mobile Complete, Completes Series B Funding Round led by Motorola Ventures |
Company aims to expand popular DeviceAnywhere™ web-based virtual development lab, which currently allows over 650 global clients to test applications on any handset without having to physically purchase hundreds of actual device models.

December 4th, 2006 – (San Mateo, CA) - Mobile Complete announced today that it has closed its second round of funding. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The round was led by Motorola Ventures, the strategic investment arm of Motorola, Inc. with participation from a previous investor, Innovacom VC.
With approximately two thousand handset models currently operating in the global marketplace according to In-Stat Principal Analyst Allen Nogee, consumers have more options than ever to find the right model that suits their lifestyle. Innovative handsets continue to be brought to market in fast-paced manner to respond to consumer demand, which is challenging application developers to keep pace.

This round further validates Mobile Complete’s ongoing contribution to the mobile marketplace, and significantly strengthens its position as a market leader in providing solutions to content providers, network operators, and device manufacturers for managing handset proliferation in the mobile industry. Mobile Complete’s offerings are helping the entire mobile ecosystem by fueling the delivery and adoption of mobile content. This service already boasts 300+ handsets across 5 locations covering 10 carriers and 11 device manufacturers, with upwards of 1500 users subscribed. The company will also expand its sales and marketing efforts to address the immense market demand it has been experiencing recently.
