Los Angeles, Calif. – Sep. 12, 2006 - Mobile Complete today announced General Availability of its DeviceAnywhere.com service after a very successful BETA program with participation from several hundred companies.
DeviceAnywhere.com is an innovative online service that provides remote access to hundreds of globally distributed REAL MOBILE HANDSETS, enabling the global mobile developer community to remotely test mobile applications and content across a diverse range of physical handsets and carrier networks.
By using DeviceAnywhere.com, mobile developers save thousands of dollars annually; the service eliminates the need to buy hundreds of handsets, or to subscribe to expensive data service plans. Additionally, DeviceAnywhere.com provides seamless remote access to global carrier networks eliminating the need for expensive travel. A recent study conducted across dozens of participants in the BETA program indicated that subscribers achieve upwards of a 200% cost reduction by using this unique service.
Key milestones achieved by DeviceAnywhere.com in this short timeframe are:
- 200+ unique handset models deployed – more added daily
- All major device manufacturers supported: Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, LG, SonyEricsson, Sanyo, PalmOne, HTC, Kyocera, BlackBerry, Audiovox
- 10 global carriers supported: Cingular, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, Alltel, TELUS, Orange UK, Vodafone UK, T-Mobile UK, O2 – more coming soon
- 1000+ subscribers signed up – dozens signing up daily
- Introduction of pre-release handsets into the device library – more added daily

We are already covering the US, Canada, and the UK – and in the coming months we will launch the service in mobile data markets such as Korea, Japan, China, Brazil, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, and India.”
